Born in Geneva in 1997, Fabian Menor began publishing comic strips on current affairs in a local Geneva newspaper at the age of 14.

He then studied as a graphic designer and designed the visual identity for the Geneva Watchmaking School. He then continued his studies at the recently opened ESBDI, Higher School of Comics and Illustration. He will graduate in 2019 and will produce a graphic novel about his grandmother's childhood for his diploma. This work won him a Caran d'Ache prize and will be published by La joie de lire in 2020.

Since then, he has worked independently on both public and private commissions, focusing on two comics: an adaptation of Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz's novel ''Derborence'', to be published by Helvetiq in 2022, and a collaborative project with JP Kalonji and Yrgane Ramon, illustrating the lives of three young unaccompanied refugee minors, also to be published by Helvetiq.

He has since travelled to Benin and Ivory Coast for the GenevAfrica project. Always in search of new experiences and encounters, he went to Greece with a journalist for an ongoing project.

Currently based in Malaga, he is working on a fictional comic strip based on real events on the theme of blindness, supported by ProHelvetia and the City of Geneva. Fabian Menor is constantly seeking to innovate in the themes he tackles. His work is based above all on the pleasure of drawing, of listening to the sound of the pencil on the paper, of observing a passer-by, a bird, a cloud, of trying to understand the unknown, of telling a story, in whatever form, and sharing it.
